EMAA Executive Director Hired.
After 38 years with the agency, William (Bill) Bunch, Executive Director of East Missouri Action Agency of Park Hills (EMAA), is retiring on July 31, 2016. EMAA is pleased to announce that Keri McCrorey, currently the EMAA Community Services Director, has been named as his successor and is to begin her transitional journey into the Executive Director office on April 1, 2016 and to fully take the helm on August 1, 2016.
EMAA recognizes Keri as an experienced leader in non-profit administration with a proven track record. Keri is an accomplished executive with more than 26 years of distinguished service helping EMAA clients, increasing organizational efficiency and building strong relationships with partners.
In her current role as Community Services Director, she has provided direction and oversight for programs serving economically challenged communities and families, impacting 18,000 individuals annually. In 2008, Keri won the Charles Braithwaite Community Action Leadership Award for her hard work to assist the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
Keri is a Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) and holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Community & Economic Development. She is currently the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Association for Community Action (MACA) and sits on the Board’s Long-Term Planning Committee. Keri a life-long resident of St. Francois County, is married to Mike and has two children, Olivia and Lexxi.
East Missouri Action Agency is very fortunate in having a person of Keri’s caliber to continue and expand the success of Mr. Bunch’s legacy in bringing her expertise to fill the Executive Director role. Her wealth of community connections, stellar leadership skills and vibrant passion in helping others will be an asset for the organization.
